Idukki bus accident; One died

Idukki: One person died in a tourist bus accident in Idukki. Milhaj, a native of Malappuram, died. The body was found under the bus during a search conducted by locals in the morning. The body was shifted to Adimali Taluk Hospital.

The accident happened around 1.15 am. The bus carrying students of Valancherry Regional College was involved in the accident. About forty people were injured. The bus went out of control on the steep and curvy road and overturned towards Koka.

Locals who came to know about the accident did the first rescue operation. Local residents say that the narrow road is dangerous. They said that car accidents are a daily occurrence on this road.
