Anyone who inherits proportionately with others can become a victim of blockages in the community of heirs. Where are problems lurking – and what should you pay attention to with regard to real estate from the estate?
Do you know that? On your jogging route or on the way to work you always pass a nice house that is in a pleasant location but has not been lived in or used for years. Given the growing housing shortage, such isolated cases of abandoned properties are particularly surprising. It is not at all unlikely that the reason for such anachronistic vacancy could be a dispute between the heirs of the property in question. Too bad.
Fortunately, not every community of heirs has a dispute. But the larger the group and the inherited wealth, the more often conflicts can arise.
