The examination question papers for the post of 209 village assistants in Madurai district have been published on social media and created controversy.
District administration has issued a notification to fill 209 vacant posts of village assistants in all 11 taluks of Madurai district. Following this, applications were received online from November 7. More than 10,000 candidates have applied for the Tamil and English Literacy test today at 10 am in 22 examination centers in 11 talukas of the district.
In this case, while a large number of young graduates and women who had applied were waiting to write the exam, suddenly in the middle of the night, some people sent the question papers for the English proficiency test in the examination center in the areas under Madurai South Circle through social media and it is said that they asked for 10 thousand rupees to get all the question papers.
After this, now the question papers have been released on social media and it has caused a shock. An explanation was given by the Collector of Madurai, in which he said that the question papers for the village assistant examination will be changed and the newly prepared question papers will be given in the morning examination. He also said that appropriate action will be taken against those who leaked the question papers.
