Ikumi Nakamura is the Japanese artist who went viral thanks to her curious presentation at E3 2019 when she presented ‘Ghostwire Tokyo‘. His charisma on stage made him the protagonist of countless memes, fanarts and a fame that made known his interesting past in video game companies working on games like Eyes, Bayonetta y The Evil Within.

Many things changed from that presentation. Nakamura decided to retire from Tango Gameworks after her health deteriorated due to Bethesda’s policies and way of working that did not let her rest. It was in 2021 when she announced that she formed her own studio called ‘Unseen‘, which would seek to work on new IPs while working freelance with other companies, such as when he made some Rainbow Six Siege skins for Ubisoft.

It seems that we will soon have news about Ikumi Nakamura’s study. The portal Gematsu reports that the Unseen studio registered the name ‘Kemuri‘, on September 6. The Spanish translation would be ‘smoke’, so it doesn’t leave many clues as to what it could be.

The interesting thing is that this record is given one week after the start of the Tokyo Game Show, a place that has everything for Ikumi Nakamura to be present showing his new video game. Another alternative could be to have a space in the next State of Play of PlayStation.
