BBayern forward Lewandowski says he’s disappointed he did not win the London D’Or. Lewandowski’s reaction did not hide his disappointment at Messi’s kiss on the Ballon d’Or.
I felt sad. I will not disagree with that. I can not say I was happy. I was disappointed. Messi came close and competed. “I respect the way Messi played and his achievements,” Lewandowski said.

I have no great interest in getting the 2020 award. I liked Messi’s words that in 2020 I should have won the Ballon d’Or. “It’s not just Messi’s words,” Lewandowski said. Messi responded that Lewandowski should have won the Ballon d’Or in 2020.

Lewandowski has started the fight for the Ballon d’Or next season as well. Bayern’s Polish striker has scored 16 goals in 14 games for Bayern this season.
