“Immerse yourself” in Van Gogh. In Milan, he exhibits it in real size

Time.news – Van Gogh in a succession of brushstrokes, drawings and paintings, whose subjects are made dynamic and returned to a ‘real’ dimension thanks to the video-mapping. After the success around the world with over 5,000,000 visitors, Exhibition Hub and Fever announce the arrival at Milanoin Lampo Scalo Farini from 1 June 2023, by Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience: a journey through the works of one of the greatest artistic geniuses of the 19th century, among fields of sunflowers and almond trees in bloom.

The exhibition, for the first time in Italy completely renewed in the technological proposal, combines digital arteducational contents and new virtual reality experiences to offer an immersive adventure: 60 projectors will animate 350 Van Gogh masterpieces visible from 360 on an area of ​​2000 square meters between floor, walls and ceiling.

There will be an area where a documentary will be screened to discover all the secrets of Van Gogh’s pictorial technique, a room dedicated to his studio and another area called “Color and exhibit” – entirely reserved for the imagination of visitors who will be able to create and view your creations inspired by the artist’s most famous paintings on a large screen, or take them with you as a souvenir of the exhibition.

The Milanese setting exclusively presents the hall of Japonism with works in which Van Gogh was inspired by the art of Japanese prints. Thanks to virtual reality it is also possible to explore “A day in the life of the artist”: a 10-minute multi-sensory experience to further investigate the Dutch master’s creative process and discover the inspiration for some of his most beloved paintings such as Vincent’s room in Arles and Starry Night over the Rhone.
