If this is your case then we have good news because the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) opened 5,200 positions for medical specialists. All the spaces will be offered in 1,624 hospitals that are part of the Institute in its Ordinary Regime and the IMSS-Well-being program.
At the facilities of the Churubusco Social and Sports Center of the National Union of Social Security Workers (SNTSS), the protocol act called “United let’s transform care in Health Services. IMSS Family 2023”. The event was attended by 600 specialists who were summoned to offer them options for vacancies in medical units of various entities in the country.
IMSS promises better working conditions
The Director of Administration, Borsalino Gonzalez Andradepointed out that through this event it seeks add the largest number of medical specialists to the IMSS Familysince the Institute trains more than half of the country’s specialists at its facilities.
“For this reason, it is natural that it recruits the largest number of graduates to the institution, offering them the best working conditions.”
He stated that in this recruiting exercise for the year 2023 it is projected that 5 thousand 600 graduated medical specialists will participate. The figure represents 1,640 more than at the beginning of this administration. For this reason, it is of great interest to attract the doctors trained at the Institute so that they continue their history with the IMSS and together write the pages of the institutional journey.
González Andrade indicated that this call also opens the doors to external doctors who wish to join the IMSS. This draft began on March 1 and will continue until the 9th of this month.
He expressed that this call would not be successful if the professional and personal projects of doctors, their needs and concerns are not understood. This is why various actions have been implemented at the national level aimed at getting closer to doctors and listening to them, “we had meetings, a very good dialogue that forces us to be empathetic so that we can offer them better job alternatives and contribute to their development ”.
Characteristics of the places offered by the IMSS
The Director of Administration added that in 2023 the IMSS job offer considers, among other aspects, a compensation payment for positions that are difficult to fill. Double places are also offered, that is, the Institute in its Ordinary Regime and IMSS Well-beingas well as the possibility of a job offer for direct relatives of those who enter the vacancies.
In turn, the Secretary of Technical Affairs of the SNTSS, Cándido León Montalvo, commented that training and improvement in the workplace arises in the world as a response to the need to permanently improve the quality and training of human resources in the face of the technology, production and society, in order to raise the level of competitiveness.
He stressed that IMSS and SNTSS maintain a firm commitment to the workers of the institution to “provide them with job security with the positions offered in this great and professional event, through the various models established by both organizations, which seeks the well-being of the worker at all times. and his family.”
For his part, the director of the National Training and Quality Center, Rafael Maauad Abud, commented that the sum of efforts between Social Security and the Union allows for the best results, proof of this is the training of specialists who today seek to join to Social Security.
He added that in the 80 years of the Institute, each of the programs that are handled bilaterally, such as the hiring of medical specialists, have given great results. “We continue to work hard with all of you so that this training is continuous and permanent.”
