In January, a 16-year-old boy attempted to enter Nordenbergsskolan in Olofström without being a student, but was turned away at the door. It was later discovered that he was suspected of planning a murder targeting a girl who was a student at the school. The boy was placed in a Sis home and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

In February, two young men reportedly entered Af Chapman high school in Karlskrona and abused a student, and a knife may have been involved. Following the incident, the school introduced more frequent ID checks to improve security.

In March, a 15-year-old student at Jämjö knowledge center brought a knife to school and was quickly taken into custody by police. The student has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Other students and staff at the school had to take shelter during the incident, being locked into classrooms.

January 30, Olofström

A boy tries to get into Nordenbergsskolan in Olofström. The boy is turned away at the door, because he is not a student at the school.

It later emerges that the boy is 16 years old and is suspected of having prepared a murder, aimed at a girl who is a student at Nordenberg School.

The 16-year-old has been placed in a Sis home after the incident and the investigation into the case is still ongoing.

February 7, Karlskrona

Two young men enter the Af Chapman high school in Karlskrona. There they allegedly abused a student. There must also have been some kind of knife at the incident.

After the incident at the high school it has introduced more frequent ID checks to create better security.

March 20, Jämjö

A 15-year-old student at Jämjö knowledge center comes to school armed with a knife. The student can be quickly taken into custody by the police who are alerted to the scene and have since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Other students and staff at the school had to take shelter during the incident through so-called containment, where they were closed into the classrooms.
