Sinop’s Secretary of Social Assistance, Labor and Housing, Scheila Pedroso, is in Cuiabá, meeting with representatives from Caixa Econômica Federal, manager of Residencial Nico Baracat and also the construction company responsible, with the aim of demanding measures and agility in solving problems. all situations identified by the families of the enterprise. This week, before the visit, Sinop City Hall also formally notified Caixa Econômica Federal, requesting a position and demanding due support from the construction company responsible for the work, in addition to setting up a department service point within the project to assist families.

“This agenda at Caixa Econômica was with the technical team responsible for approving the projects. I met with the engineer who was present at the construction site on Tuesday, to check the conditions of the apartments, because after we notified Caixa, they sent the engineer on site to check the real situation and also to guide the construction company. in this process”, highlighted the secretary.

During the meeting in Cuiabá, the secretary received a guarantee from Caixa Econômica that measures will be taken and that the problems identified do not pose a risk to families. “Caixa committed that it has full responsibility for the project together with the construction company. They also informed that there is a channel for monitoring the quality of work, a quality program, and they are monitoring this within the standard of the project, which is band 1. They clarified that unforeseen events encountered do not harm the structural part of the properties and who will carry out the repairs together with the construction company”, he continued.

In addition to the meeting with Caixa Econômica Federal, the secretary also met with representatives of the construction company responsible for the project, this Friday morning (9). “We understand the inconvenience that occurs after construction, which affects families, but we ask for a little patience, as we are present at the construction site solving the problems and we will solve 100% of the problems. It is a work that has a 5-year guarantee and we will be present for a long time, five to six months on the construction site providing support. Afterwards, the families will have contact with us and we will get back to them if there is any problem”, reported the construction company’s director, Derli Rosa.

To assist in the residents’ moving process, support for families was intensified with the Social Service set up in the residence at the beginning of this week. “We are seeking the necessary help to assist families. At no point will the municipality leave families destitute. Our objective is to resolve any situation that may arise within Nico Baracat”, concluded the secretary.

The City Hall, through the Secretariat of Social Assistance, Work and Housing, has the role of registering families benefiting from Residencial Nico Baracat and contributing to the selection, according to criteria established by the Minha Casa Minha Vida Housing Program. Another work carried out by the municipality is monitoring families before and after the move with the Social Work Project (PTS).
