Kuwait: In Kuwait, more than 26 services of the Ministry of Interior are now online only. The Ministry of Interior Under Secretary Anwar Al Barjaz has instructed the concerned officials not to accept applications directly from those who reach their respective offices regarding these services, a local newspaper reported citing the ministry.

At the same time, the categories of the elderly, differently abled, and those who cannot transact online have been exempted from the decision. The following services are restricted to online mode only.

Payment of traffic fines, medical examination results of expatriates, renewal of residence documents for domestic workers, driving license services, issuance of criminal status certificate, renewal of residence documents and issuance of new visas for expatriates, payment of fines related to residence documents, change and renewal of temporary residence documents, reporting of lost documents, more for domestic workers Services such as payment of fees, payment of traffic fines of institutions and individuals, renewal of residence documents for self-sponsorship status, payment of fines related to visas – issuance of travel tickets of deportees, issuance of clearance certificate from execution of court order etc. are restricted to online mode only.
