The film “Lord of the Wind” became the box office leader in Russia, earning 121.3 million rubles last weekend, reports the Kinobusiness portal.
The second place was taken by the American action movie “The Expendables 4”, and the top three was completed by the comedy “Bad Money” from the USA.
The film “Lord of the Wind” tells the story of the around-the-world flight of traveler Fyodor Konyukhov, who in 2016 set a world record by circling the planet in 11 days 4 hours 20 minutes. The role of Konyukhov in the film was played by actor Fyodor Bondarchuk.
On October 5, Bondarchuk explained why he used ammonia during the filming of “Lord of the Wind.” Filming took place in Moscow and Dagestan.
