During the “5 questions to Armen Ashotyan” teleconference, RPA vice-president and political prisoner Armen Ashotyan answered citizens’ questions.
Serob Grigoryan asked Ashotyan, “Do you think there will be a war in the near future? There is a movement of Azerbaijani troops, and Aliyev is leading everything towards that in his statements.”
Ashotyan responded that the war started on September 27, 2020, and has not ended. It continues in various forms: diplomatic, informational, psychological. Military operations are just one aspect of this ongoing war.
He emphasized that the probability of new military operations is high, and Prime Minister Pashinyan‘s involvement is comparable to Aliyev’s. Ashotyan also criticized the internal front led by Nikol, which undermines Armenia’s ability to defend itself. He accused Pashinyan of deliberately weakening diplomacy, disorganizing the Armed Forces, and suppressing dissent.
