Thiruvananthapuram: Son killed father in Kilimanoor. Rajan (60) was killed in Panapamkunnu Einthannur Colony. The incident happened around 10 pm last night. After committing the murder, Rajesh (28), whose son Suraj calls him, went on the run. The dead body was found strangled by the neck.
Only father and son were in the house when the incident took place. The slain Rajan’s wife had gone to a relative’s house under Chirai. Rajesh, who was in a drunken fight, passed away after calling the neighbors about the murder of his father. Neighbors did not take it seriously as Rajesh was drunk.

Neighbors had called Rajan’s wife about the fight between father and son. After they reached their house in Kilimanoor from Chirayinkeez, it was confirmed that Rajan was killed. The information was then reported to the Kilimanoor police. The police reached the spot and started searching for Rajesh, who went on the run after the incident.
