The Social Welfare Bank (BPS) broke down on Monday the data corresponding to the unemployment insurance in October, disaggregating them by age groupsex, average amount and department.
The number of workers in unemployment insurance in October showed a reduction compared to the previous monthr, with the departure of almost 6 thousand workers from the subsidy. There were 42,591 registered throughout the country.
Regarding the departments, Montevideo led in quantity with 16,081 people, followed by cannelloni with 7,022 and Maldonado with 4,021. On the lower edge were located in lavalleja con 516, Thirty-three with 322 and Flores con 258.
