The debate is still ongoing regarding the identity of the new coach of the Spanish team Barcelona, after the current coach, Xavi Hernandez, announced his departure at the end of the current season.
Mundo Deportivo newspaper monitored a list of ten coaches nominated to take over to succeed Xavi.
The list includes coaches available for free, such as the German duo Hansi Flick, former Bayern Munich coach, and Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp, who also announced his departure at the end of the current season.
The list includes other prominent names, but the task of signing them will be difficult, such as Xabi Alonso, coach of Bayer Leverkusen, the leaders of the German League, Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, Roberto De Zerbe, coach of Brighton, and Mikel Arteta, coach of Arsenal.
The Catalan newspaper nominated other names whose chances appear to be less, such as Imanol Alguathil, coach of Real Sociedad and winner of the Best Coach award in the Spanish League last season, Unai Emery, coach of Aston Villa, Sergio Conceicao, coach of Porto, and Mitchell, coach of Girona.
