India vs Australia, Ahmedabad Test pitch Tamil News: India won the first two matches of the Border-Gavaskar Test series in Nagpur and Delhi and Australia won the third match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Test series on Indian soil. Thus, India leads the series by 2-1. In this case, the 4th and final Test match between these two teams will start tomorrow (Thursday, 9th) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Having tasted victory in the previous match, Australia will be motivated and excited to win the next match as well. On the other hand, the Indian team will be active as this match is important to advance to the World Test Championship. Besides, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese are visiting to witness the match. So, there is no doubt that the competition will be intense from the opening day of the game.

No tickets online; Fans are shocked

In this case, the fans expressed dissatisfaction that the tickets for the 4th and last Test match between India and Australia are not available online. While some fans came to buy advance tickets online yesterday, some of them said they were unable to ‘book’ tickets online.

Last week, many fans took to social media to complain about this. But the BCCI remained silent on the issue. However, BCCI’s official ticketing partner, bookmyshow.com, has assured that the issue is temporary and tickets for the five days will be available soon.

As all three Test matches in the series lasted only ‘two days and one session’, it was evident that there was disappointment among the fans. “Now the games are over in two days. So what’s the point of coming to watch a test if you miss the first day?” said a fan outside the ticket counter.

How about Ahmedabad pitch?

Talking about the Ahmedabad ground where the match will be held, a senior official of the Gujarat Cricket Association said, “We are going to go for a sporting wicket in this Test. In the central square, there are two types of pitches, black and red (clay). It will be decided soon on which track to play the Test,” he said.

India’s plan to use a rank turner in Indore has been reconsidered after it faced setbacks, people in the know say. “What’s the point of playing a lot of return pitches when our batsmen don’t do well against the spinners?” An official said.

In the Ahmedabad pitch, the central square is slightly elevated. Not as steep as Lord’s ground. But it has a smooth 360 degree tilt. Batsmen are expected to appreciate the shots as the ball runs down the slope and is expected to fly across the perfectly manicured billiards-table surface.

Don’t make predictions about that pitch so early. But the pitch is definitely not a ‘sand pit’. All the 4 pitches prepared there have plenty of grass. Over the years, even opponents have found that the true nature of the pitch can only be understood when the game starts. Pitches in India are known to turn from green to brown overnight.

However, in the evening, there was light drizzle during the night before a dust storm hit the stadium. As a result, garden sprinklers that splash water were eliminated. Before the pitches in the central square were closed and retired for the night, they were well watered. It’s not like a typical dry, crumbly pitch. Finally, in this Test, India are expected to opt for an even playing field.
