Thiruvananthapuram: Cricket Puram today in Thiruvananthapuram. India-Sri Lanka 3rd ODI will be played today at 1.30 pm at Kariyawattam Greenfield Stadium. Both the teams reached Thiruvananthapuram on January 13. The Indian team was accommodated at the Hyatt Regency and the Sri Lankan team was accommodated at the Taj Hotel. Yesterday (January 14) both the teams conducted the final training session at the Greenfield Stadium.
Along with the teams, the match officials had also reached Thiruvananthapuram earlier. Nitin Menon and JR. Madanagopal also controls the match on the field. Anil Chaudhary is the TV umpire. K.N. Ananthapadmanabhan will be the fourth umpire and Javagal Srinath will be the match referee.

This is the second ODI to be played at the Greenfield Stadium in Karivattam. The first one-day international match at the stadium was held on 1 November 2018. India had won the match against West Indies that day. The first international match at the stadium was a T20 match between India and New Zealand on November 7, 2017. India won the match which was reduced to eight overs due to rain. After that, Team India lost against West Indies in T20 on December 8, 2019. The last international T20 match at the stadium was played on September 28, 2022 after a long break due to Covid.
