They threw us in prison, but they released us because there were many of us and we were all good. And when they learned that we were there for the Kumbh Mela, the most important spiritual retreat in the world, they freed us.” On the miracles that are performed to become Baba, or Sadhu, or Hindu ascetics: «You don’t become Baba by chance, you demonstrate it by doing miracles. For example, Sai Baba would touch your head and a lot of ash would come out. Amma was seen weighing 20 kilos and 150 within half an hour with a meditation. Babaji spent 40 days in meditation. When he opened his eyes, a journalist said to him: how are you going to drink now? There is a drought in the city and he replied: but all I need to do is whisper sweet words to the wind and it will bring me water and it began to rain from his head.
