After the meeting of the secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India, Alkesh Kumar Sharma, and the deputy minister of Communications of Cuba, Grisel Reyes, both nations agreed to collaborate on digital transformation.

The idea is to share open source platforms to implement government services, training and education projects in emerging technologies, as well as the creation of a high-performance computing center, emerged from this meeting.

Artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, among other sectors in which both parties could be linked without difficulty, are some areas of interest.
The Cuban delegation also participates in the international exhibition and conference of information technology and communications technologies Indiasoft 2023, a preferred meeting point for Indian technology developers and consumers from around the world.
Delegates from more than 60 countries and 1,500 national electronics, hardware and information technology exhibitors participate in this forum.
