India has completed its exploration mission to the surface of the moon and put its Pragyan lunar rover on standby, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said.

It is noted that behind the successful implementation of the mission is a huge amount of work and scientific achievements. The spacecraft, which traveled more than 100 meters on the Moon, has confirmed the presence of important chemical elements such as sulfur, iron and oxygen, opening up new horizons for scientific space exploration.

Despite the transition to standby mode, the Pragyan rover continues to communicate and has charged batteries, so it can be used in the future.

On July 14, India launched the Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission. Three weeks later, the spacecraft entered the circumlunar orbit, and on August 23, the probe successfully landed on the surface of the Earth’s satellite.
