India has successfully completed the fourth stage of the mission to study the Sun with the automatic space station Aditya-L1. This was reported by the press service of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

According to the organization, the device successfully completed its fourth near-Earth maneuver. The satellite was tracked by ground stations in Mauritius, Bangalore, Sriharikota and Port Blair.

According to the Aditya-L1 mission schedule, the next stage is to reach the L1 Lagrange point 1.5 million km from Earth. It is scheduled for September 19.

Let us recall that the automatic station was launched into orbit on September 2. The Aditya-L1 mission will study the solar atmosphere, solar magnetic storms and their impact on Earth.
