Chinese smartphone maker Realme has confirmed that it will unveil a new C-series smartphone – Realme C55 – in India on March 21. Realme C55 has already been revealed in Indonesia with FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, 64MP primary camera, 33W fast charging support, among other features.
Although the company’s C series smartphones are usually quite affordable, the upcoming Relame C55 is expected to be the most expensive smartphone launched in this series. Before the launch event, let’s take a look at the phone’s launch time, price, design, and expected specifications.

The company has confirmed to the media that the affordable smartphone will debut in the country on March 21 at 12:30 PM. Realme C55 India launches two weeks after it was announced in Indonesia.

Realme C55 is rumored to be priced around Rs 15,000 in India. Since it is a 4G phone, we expect the device to be under Rs 15,000. We will have more information about the price when Realme C55 is officially launched in the country. For reference, the Realme C55 costs Rs 2,499,000 (roughly Rs. 13,300) in Indonesia for the base 6GB + 128GB variant and Rs. 2,999,000 (roughly Rs. 16,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model.
Realme C55 is expected to be introduced in India with a variety of storage configurations, including 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. In India, consumers will have the option to purchase it in three color options, including Rainforest, Rainy Night, and Sunshower.

The Relame C55 has a punch-hole display and a noticeable chin. The flat back panel has a matte finish and a rectangular camera module that houses two camera sensors and an LED flash. It will be equipped with a small capsule, similar to the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C connection for charging. This is also one of the thinnest Realme C series phones to date at 7.89mm.
