Former Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria wants India’s batsmen to fire in the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad. He also opined that India should consider bringing in someone like Suryakumar Yadav who can make some changes for the hosts and score quick runs on such pitches.
Shreyas Iyer regained full fitness and Sky was out after one Test. However, Kaneria feels that Suryakumar will get a chance in Ahmedabad and play a crucial role. This is what Danish Kaneria of India said in a video on his YouTube channel:
“India should give Suryakumar a chance. Rohit, Kohli, Gill and Shreyas all need to score big. The team may consider bringing in Suryakumar Yadav on such a track as he can play sweeps and reverse sweeps, which will be crucial. India need to think about what changes they can make in the team.”
“Don’t expect the lower order to score runs every time, Kohli and others have to show more responsibility.”
