The helicopter carrying Brigadier General Pipin Rawat crashed in the afternoon on 08/12/2021 near Coonoor in the Nilgiris district. His wife Madulika Rawat, who was traveling with Bipin Rawat, and 11 army officers were also killed in the accident. This incident has plunged the country into tragedy.
Only captain Varun Singh, who was involved in the accident, has been rescued alive. He is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Bangalore. People across the country have been praying that he will regain perfect health.
Speaking to the ANI news agency, Indian Air Force officials said Varun Singh’s health was stable but stable.
