Le Moyne college Track & Field Concludes Boston Series with Strong Performances

A strong showing at the John Thomas Terrier Classic and Harvard Invitational marks the end of the Boston series for the Le Moyne College men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams, setting the stage for the upcoming NEC Championships.
The Dolphins wrapped up competition in Massachusetts with several notable individual performances, signaling continued progress as the indoor season nears its conclusion. Sophomore Makenzie Ples lead the way for the women’s team, securing a 5th-place finish in the 5000m with a time of 18:30.84. On the men’s side, sophomore Demetrius Wells achieved a 9th-place result in the triple jump, recording a mark of 13.92m (45′ 8″).
Women’s Team Highlights
The women’s team showcased depth across multiple events at the Harvard Invitational. Junior Rosalie Vincent clocked a time of 26.02 in the 200m, finishing 20th overall. sophomore Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera delivered a standout performance in the 500m, securing 6th place with a time of 1:19.94.
Further solidifying the team’s presence, sophomore Isabella O’Donnell finished 19th in the 1000m, posting a time of 3:08.90. Senior Lilly Capria excelled in the long jump, earning a 9th-place finish with a mark of 5.32m (17′ 5.5″). Freshman Alexis Vincent also contributed in the long jump, placing 17th overall with a jump of 5.01m (16′ 5.25″), rounding out the top-30 finishes for the women’s team.
Men’s Team Performances
Competing at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, the Le Moyne men’s team demonstrated competitive spirit. In the 500m, sophomore Maltrin Ramadani and freshman Gabriel Decker delivered strong showings, finishing 19th (1:08.73) and 21st (1:08.84) respectively.
junior Trevon Walker achieved a distance of 6.10m (20′ 0.25″) in the long jump, securing a 27th-place finish. Senior Adam Cuyler placed 22nd in the shot put with a mark of 13.08m, while junior Joseph Doran rounded out the top-30 finishers for the men, earning a distance of 12.10m in the weight throw, placing 29th overall.
