Ranveer wears clothes. It is this difference that sets the star apart from other actors.
But Ranveer will ditch all this fashion when he goes to his wife and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s house in Bangalore. Ranveer says that he used to arrive in Bangalore wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Ranveer was speaking on the chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ hosted by director Karan Johar.
‘I now have two wardrobes in my house to store clothes. One has the clothes I normally wear. In another, a white t-shirt and blue jeans to wear when going to Deepika’s house.’ Ranveer says.
Ranveer also opened up about Deepika’s father and badminton star Prakash Padukone and his wife Ujjwala Padukone. ‘Initially they were in a state of panic. Who is this? What’s this? There were always questioning expressions. Especially Deepika’s mother. They didn’t know how to handle me. But now everything is fine. The last ten years have changed everyone’s approach. Now Deepika’s mother is like my mother,’ says Ranveer.
Ranveer and Deepika fell in love during the shooting of Ram Leela directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. After dating for six years, the two got married in Italy in 2018.
