The journalists’ organization did not like the attitude of Ofira Asaig, who was ugly reprimanded in a one-page website broadcast live on Tel Aviv radio.
In the sports program ‘Ofira and Barko’ on Tel Aviv Radio, Asaig broadcast the reporter Itzik to cover Hapoel Beer Sheva, to discuss the dismissal of Roni Levy. Towards him was not available, and when he went on the air, Asaig reprimanded him live, for being late to go on the air with her, because he was being interviewed at the time for Radio South.
“We’ll just remind you that your main workplace is ONE,” she scolded Khalfi, reminding the embarrassed reporter that “this program is Israel’s sports program in collaboration with ONE.” Asaig is the content editor at site one, and in fact is his boss at the site. Towards another he tried to explain, but Asaig continued and did not allow him to utter a word.

Following this, the journalists’ organization demands an apology from both the broadcaster and the owners of the radio station: “The CEO of Radio Tel Aviv demanded a public and clear apology from Ofira Asaig and the station towards the reporter who was the subject of public face-whitening. We will continue to lead the fight against abuse in the media industry.”
