The National Social Security Institute (INSS) provides a calculator that allows policyholders to simulate how much time remains to reach the necessary conditions for retirement. The tool is easy to access both on your computer and on your cell phone. See how to use it:

Computer Simulation:

Access the website meu.inss.gov.br and enter your CPF and password. If you don’t have a password, register.

Go to the “Services” section and click on “Simulate Retirement”, possibly found under “Most Accessed”.

Read and check the information displayed on the screen, including age, gender, contribution time and time remaining until retirement, in accordance with current rules.

If you wish, click “Download PDF” to save the document containing all this information.

Remember that you can return to the website at any time to redo the simulation and review the information.

Mobile Simulation:

Download the Meu INSS app, available for Android and iOS.

If necessary, click on “Enter with gov.br”, enter your CPF and password, or register a password, if you don’t already have one.

Open the side menu (top left) and select “Simulate Retirement”, possibly found under “Most Accessed”.

Read and check the information displayed, including age, gender, contribution time and time remaining until retirement, according to each of the rules in force.

If you need to correct any personal data, use the pencil icon (on the right).

If you prefer, click “Download PDF” to save the document with all this information.

The simulation tool considers the different age and contribution time rules, presenting a comprehensive view. It is important to highlight that the simulation does not automatically guarantee the right to retirement, and the INSS may request additional documents during the benefit request process.
