At Crayon’s Public School in Pena Palayam, Itidakarai, a couple from London enjoyed playing the flute with the school students.
London-based Nicholas Caucus and his wife have been traveling around the world and are interested in learning about their cultures and lifestyles.
So far they have traveled to Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Czech Republic, USA, Malaysia and Singapore.
They came to India and interacted with the children of Itigarai Crayons Public School near Thudialur. They were welcomed by the head of the school, Dinesh Kumar, with formal Tamil greetings. They saluted in Tamil and expressed happiness. In conversation with the students, they shared their experiences with the students about different countries’ cultures, education system, job opportunities, food habits. They inquired about the education system of the students with interest. Later, they enjoyed playing the flute with the students. School principal Deepa Nandini, Administrative Officer Vijayalakshmi and teachers and students participated in the programme.
