Samsung Unveils ⁤New Refrigerators‍ with AI-Powered Compressor

August 12, 2024 – Samsung Electronics has ⁣announced the release of its latest Bespoke Refrigerators, featuring a groundbreaking AI Inverter‌ Compressor with AI Energy Mode. This innovative technology enhances energy efficiency ‌and⁣ reduces noise ‍levels through intelligent load regulation.

Unlike ‍conventional refrigerators, which operate with a ‌fixed-speed compressor, the AI⁤ Inverter⁢ Compressor automatically⁣ adjusts its motor speed based ⁣on the surrounding temperature, refrigerator mode, and ⁣changes caused by door openings. This ‍responsive behavior ensures optimal cooling while ⁤minimizing energy consumption.

The AI Inverter Compressor boasts an efficiency rate exceeding 95%, ‍a remarkable ⁣achievement in the home appliance industry. Additionally,⁣ compared to previous models, energy efficiency in the typical operating range has increased by⁣ over 10%.

Complementing the advanced compressor is⁣ the SmartThings app, which further contributes to energy savings by ⁢an additional 10%. ‌This seamless integration allows users to remotely monitor and⁢ control refrigerator settings.

“The AI Inverter Compressor features four times the⁤ inertia of a conventional compressor, resulting in exceptional stability and quiet operation,” said Dae Il Kwon, Head of Compressor R&D Lab ⁤at Samsung ⁤Electronics’ Digital Appliances Business. “The noise level is less than 35 dB/A5 under normal conditions, comparable to ⁣the peaceful⁣ ambiance of‍ a ‍quiet ⁤reading room at night.”

Samsung’s⁣ commitment to innovation‍ extends beyond hardware. The company has been ⁣refining ⁣its refrigerator technology for over 25 ⁤years, consistently improving internal⁣ components like motors, ball bearings, pistons, and⁤ valves.

The company stands behind its advancements with a generous 20-year warranty covering internal motor repairs and⁤ replacements.
