The bidding for next year’s IPL players has generated much more anticipation than the IPL competition. Players who have played for another team to date are set to play on the new team from next year. All 8 teams plan to bring in players who have been released from other teams to their team, as the player retail process is now complete. Many players who were expected to be retained have been sent to auction.

Some young players are surprisingly featured on the retain list. The troubled Pandya Brothers in Mumbai are currently out of form. The names of both of them are up for auction. In it, several teams can compete to pick up Hardik Pandya. Similarly, the heat of the auction is almost certain as all the teams will be bidding for star players including Ishant Kishan, Rashid Khan, David Warner, Johnny Baristo, Bob Doubles, KL Rahul. Similarly, young players who have excelled in local competitions are more likely to hit the jackpot in this auction.

This aside, when will the auction take place? Is the question of many. Since the IPL matches will be held in the summer, the bidding should be completed before then. So, at most there is every chance that the auction will take place in January next year. The IPL auction next year is expected to be even more exciting than the 20-over series, as both the newly fielded teams will be bidding.
