Kochi ∙ Huge hunt for intoxicating drugs in Kochi coast. 200 kg of heroin was seized by the Navy and the Narcotics Control Bureau on the Iranian boat. The intoxicated man was arrested on the basis of a secret information received by the Narcotics Bureau. The NCB officials sought the help of the Navy to nab the drug gang.
NCB took six people in the boat into custody. The nationals of Iran and Pakistan were arrested. The boat was brought to Mattanchery. It has been informed that the Navy will hand over the intoxicants and those arrested to the Coastal Police.
