/ The Iraqi national football team concluded its training, this Friday morning, before facing the South Korean national team tomorrow evening, Saturday, at five o’clock Abu Dhabi time (17:00) and four o’clock Baghdad time (16:00) in a confrontation hosted by New York University Stadium in Saadiyat.
All 26 players participated in today’s training, which took place in the training centers of Khalifa Sports City.
The technical staff emphasized in the training session the implementation of some of the technical aspects that are supposed to be applied against the Korean Samson, and the Iraqi national team coach, Jesus Casas, decided to give rest to all the players the day after tomorrow, Sunday, before the Mesopotamia Lions resume their training again, starting on Monday, until the time of their departure for Doha. On the 11th of this month to participate in the 2023 Asian Cup.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi team is playing in Group D, alongside the teams of Indonesia, Japan and Vietnam, and the matches will be respectively on the 15th, 19th and 24th of this month.
