The Security Media Cell announced the killing of a group of terrorists and the destruction of their hideout by Iraqi air strikes within the Kirkuk Operations Sector.
The cell stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “in a qualitative operation based on accurate information from the Directorate of Military Intelligence and in coordination with the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, F_16 aircraft destroyed a terrorist nest that contained members of ISIS gangs, in Wadi al-Shay within the sector.” Kirkuk Operations Command.
She added, “The den was completely destroyed, the terrorist group inside it was killed, and the weapons, equipment, and materials in it were destroyed,” stressing that, “With our various security units and a precise and mature intelligence effort, we will pursue what remains of the defeated, disappointed ISIS detachments.”
