After officially moving to Dallas and working out with her, Kyrie Irving deleted the apology for his anti-Semitic post from his time in Brooklyn. During his presentation, the media noticed the deletion of the post and asked him about it, when the star evaded.
“I delete a lot of things from my Instagram,” he said Irving, “I know who I am, I delete things all the time, it’s not out of disrespect to anyone in the community. Do I stand by the apology? I stand behind who I am and why I apologized, and I did it because I care about my family and I have Jews in my family who care about me.”
He later added: “I stand behind the apology and behind my people, of every race and every religion. Did Jews from the family talk to me? I’ve had many conversations about the history of the world, we’ll leave it at that. My family is my family, if the media cared and investigated before making accusations, then they would know more about me.”
“I delete a lot of things on my IG… I didn’t mean to be defensive or go at anybody. I stand by my apology and I stand by my people, everywhere.”
