Celebrity Cricket League, a cricket tournament for film stars, has started. Kerala Satrikers from Malayalam are also participating in the league. The players started training months before the league started in February. The training video of the stars also got a lot of attention on social media.
Kerala Strikers last match was in Jaipur. Kunchacko Boban captained the team and could not play as expected. They had to lose the first two matches they played.
A video of fans asking Chakochan for his autograph after the match is now going viral. As the match is in Jaipur, the player asks if you know me while giving autographs. In the video, a group of fans can be heard saying that we are Malayalis after giving autographs to a few people. The funny video has been taken over by fans.
Kerala Strikers were runners up in 2014 and 2017. This time the team has been formed in association with the celebrity cricket club Celebrity Cricket Association. So the team will be known as C3 Kerala Strikers.
