Tamil director Halita Shamim has raised allegations against ‘Nanpakal Nereth Mayaka’. “The aesthetics of my film Elle have been captured in broad daylight. It’s nice that both the films were shot in the same location, but we can’t stand the same plagiarism. “We trained people in the village for ale,” said Halita. The director also talks about the similarities in the story of both the films.

“The ice cream man in Ale became the milk man in this one. Along with Mammootty, the film also features actor-singer Aleil. There are many similarities between what happens in the film. You can reject my picture but it is wrong to copy the beauty of a picture like that,” says Halita.

Halitha is making her directorial debut with the 2014 film Poovasaram Peepee. Later, he gained the attention of moviegoers with films like Sillu Karupatti and Ele Puthan Pudhu Kalai Vityatha. He has also won the JF W award.
