ISERNIA, MAINTENANCE WORK FOR THE POST OFFICE IN VIA XXIV MAGGIO
The headquarters will be affected by the “LED Project”
The continuity of services guaranteed at the headquarters in Corso Garibaldi (Isernia 2), which during the period of the interventions will increase the opening hours (8.20-19.05)
Isernia, 12 March 2024 – Poste Italiane’s interventions continue, also in Molise, which will allow the company to reach the objective of “zero net carbon dioxide emissions” by 2030, as envisaged in the “2024 Sustain & Innovate” strategic plan ”, which puts sustainability at the center of the strategy, in addition to innovation, broken down into eight pillars, including the decarbonisation of real estate and logistics.
In particular, starting from today Tuesday 12 March, the Isernia Centro post office (via XXIV Maggio) will be affected by the so-called “LED Project”, which involves the complete renewal of the lighting system, through the replacement of the current LED lamps fluorescence with new LED lights with low energy impact, capable of allowing the reduction (about 50%) of electricity consumption and the saving of maintenance costs linked to the longer life in hours of the lighting fixtures. During the period of works, which are estimated to last five working days, Poste Italiane will upgrade the post office in Corso Garibaldi (Isernia 2), which will extend its opening hours and will exceptionally be available continuously from today, Tuesday 12 March, until Friday 15 March, from 8.20am to 7.05pm (Saturday 16 March usual opening from 8.20am to 12.35pm).
Furthermore, at the Corso Garibaldi office, a counter dedicated exclusively to regular customers in Via XXIV Maggio has been activated, enabled for all postal and financial services, including “rooted” ones such as operations on savings books and Bancoposta accounts and the withdrawal of correspondence and packages not delivered due to the absence of the recipient. Please note that the Corso Garibaldi office is equipped with a Postamat ATM, available seven days a week and operating 24 hours a day for cash withdrawals and for all permitted operations.
Nearby, the post office in via Vivaldi (Isernia 1) is also available to customers, open from 8.20am to 1.35pm (on Saturdays until 12.35pm) and equipped with a Postamat ATM.
The post office in via XXIV Maggio will reopen to the public, barring unforeseen circumstances, on Monday 18 March.
