Tehran: Iran has canceled all flights from 20:30 on Sunday night to 05:30 on Monday morning. Due to this, it is feared that Israel may attack Iran tonight. This night is also important because the next day Israel will celebrate the first anniversary of the Hamas attack on October 7. Israel has already hinted at retaliating against Iran. There are also reports that the Israeli retaliatory attack has received approval from America. However, the US has urged not to attack Iranian nuclear plants. Four days ago, Iran attacked Israel with about 200 ballistic missiles.
Netanyahu said – it is our responsibility to attack Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday reiterated his promise to retaliate against Iran. He said Israel has an obligation to retaliate and will do so. Speaking from Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu said: “No country in the world will accept such an attack on its cities and civilians, and Israel will not do it either. “Israel has a duty and a right to defend itself and respond to these attacks – and it will do so.”
Israeli army said- Iranian attack failed
The attack by about 180 Iranian ballistic missiles launched on Tuesday caused minor damage in Israel, including against Israeli airbases. The Israeli military stated that no aircraft or critical infrastructure were damaged, and the Israeli Air Force was operating at full capacity. Most of the missiles coming from Iran were either intercepted by air defenses or dropped in open areas. However, the attack caused 10 million Israelis to flee for cover and also damaged civilian structures, including a school.
Iran threatened Israel after the attack
The Israeli military said earlier Saturday that the response would be “serious and significant.” Iran’s rocket attack came during the war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Iran said it fired missiles at Israel in response to the attacks that killed leaders of Hezbollah, Hamas and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. In its statement, Iran mentioned Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Revolutionary Guard General Abbas Nilforoushan, who were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut last week.
