The Israeli Army said, this Sunday (19), that soldier Noa Marciano was executed by Hamas terrorists inside Al-Shifa hospital, in the city of Gaza. The statement contradicts the terrorists’ claim that the 19-year-old was killed by Israeli bombing.

Marciano “was taken hostage by Hamas terrorists during the October 7th massacre (…) and was taken to Gaza alive”, said IDF (Israel Defense Forces) spokesman Daniel Hagari at a press conference.
Although the young woman was injured during fighting between Israeli forces and terrorists, “an independent pathological report determined that Noa’s injuries were not life-threatening,” Hagari added.
He also stated that, according to intelligence information, “the Hamas terrorists took Noa Marciano to Al-Shifa hospital, where she was quickly murdered.”

Version given by Hamas was different
The statement contradicts the statement of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamasthat Marciano was killed by Israeli bombing on November 9.
Last Monday (13), Hamas released a video showing Marciano, supposedly on her fourth day in captivity, asking for the bombings to be halted because the hostages “may die”, as well as several photos of her, apparently dead, with a serious head injury and missing a foot.
The location where the video was filmed cannot be identified, as she is only seen reading a piece of paper with an Islamic group flag in the background.
Shortly before the video was released, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obeida accused Israel of refusing a deal to exchange Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners.
The war so far
Israel declared war on Hamas on October 7, following an attack by the terrorist group that included rocket fire and the infiltration of around 3,000 members who killed around 1,200 people and kidnapped more than 240 in Israeli villages bordering the Strip, including Marciano.
Of all those kidnapped — including women, babies and the elderly — four civilian women were freed, a soldier was rescued and two people were confirmed dead: Marciano and Yehudit Weiss, a 65-year-old Israeli woman.
Also this Sunday, Israeli forces stated that Hamas terrorists were holding some of the hostages at the Al-Shifa hospital and released images recorded on October 7, from inside the hospital, which show members of the group taking two of the captured civilians, a Nepali and a Thai. One of them was walking and the other was on a stretcher, bleeding and with his hands tied.
The walker “does not appear to need medical treatment, but is still being taken into the hospital,” Hagari said, noting that “Hamas has been hiding and killing the hostages at the Shifa hospital.” The spokesman said Israeli troops had not yet been able to locate the men seen in the video.
Israeli troops claim that Hamas terrorists have built an underground infrastructure in the area of Al-Shifa hospital, the most important medical center in the Palestinian enclave, to set up their headquarters.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces claimed to have found a “fortified tunnel” 55 meters long and 10 meters deep under the Al-Shifa hospital, which has been out of regular service for several days and has been emptied, with the exception of around 300 patients in serious condition and the medical team.
