Israeli-Palestinian War: 100 Days of Conflict and Casualties

The war erupted when Hamas-led militants invaded southern Israel on October 7, killing 1,200 people and taking 240 hostages.

Israel says Israel Defense Forces have killed more than 9,000 Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip during ground offensives against Hamas.

Oct. 7- Jan. Citing data between 9 and 10, the Israeli military said:

The IDF has removed two of Hamas’ five brigade-level commanders, the army announced. Additionally, 19 platoon commanders and 50 company commanders were killed. In the past three months, Israel’s military has struck about 30,000 terrorist targets along the coast.

Palestinian terror groups in Gaza have fired about 9,000 rockets. According to IDF data, they reached the borders of the Jewish state. And hundreds of rockets fell into the Gaza Strip.

Along the country’s northern borders, the IDF and Israeli air force have struck about 750 targets in Syria and Lebanon since the start of the war. About 2,000 rockets and missiles entered Israeli territory from Lebanon, in addition to about 30 launched from Syria.

522 soldiers have been killed since October 7, and 188 since the start of ground operations in Gaza on October 27. 779 civilians have been killed by terrorists since Hamas began its sudden attacks. More than 50,000 civilians including 76 foreigners have been injured.

As Sunday marked 100 days since the Oct. 7 massacre, Hamas fired rockets throughout the day. Airstrikes were carried out in Ashdod, Yavneh, Kibbutz Chad, Moshav Ben Zakai, Moshav Zimrat and Moshav Shuva. No casualties were reported.
