Former Baku, now a citizen of the Russian Federation, Alexandra Khitrenko, who came to Baku to stay, said this in connection with the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall in a conversation with journalists on March 23, Day.Az reported on Saturday with reference to Trend.
She came to the building of the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan to lay flowers in memory of those killed during the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk near Moscow.
“Why were people shot there? Children also died and suffered there. I have a son, he is also young, and he could have been among those who came to the Crocus City Hall for the concert. There could have been citizens of Azerbaijan there. That’s all – peaceful people. How can you fight with peaceful people? This is unacceptable,” said Alexandra Khitrenko, barely holding back tears.
Let us note that yesterday unknown persons fired machine guns at Crocus City Hall before the start of the concert of the Picnic group.
FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov reported to the President of the Russian Federation about the detention of 11 people, including 4 terrorists.
According to the FSB Investigative Committee, the death toll in the terrorist attack has risen to 93 people.
