PUDUCHERRY-AITUC, Puducherry Panchal Labor Union Executives meeting was held at Mudaliarpet Head Office.
Association President Abhishekam presided. Sangha Secretary Murthy listed the Sangha tasks.
In this meeting A.I. TUC, State General Secretary Sethuselvam, Treasurer Bhupathi, Vice Presidents Ravi, Desikan, Subpaiah, Deputy Secretaries Ilango, Pachaiyappan, Muniandi, Yehumalai, Executive Committee members Thirunnamurthy, Muruganandam, Murugan, Satish and others were present.
In the meeting, several stages of protests were held against the closure of AFT, Swadeshi and Bharati mills in Puducherry.
A request was made to meet the Chief Minister in July last year and open the mills.
Then Chief Minister Rangaswamy promised to take steps to open the mill.
But the trend of passing time without implementation is continuing. The Panchali Labor Union strongly condemns this.
It was decided to hold a protest demonstration in front of the Assembly tomorrow morning on 24th morning and to continue the protests until the mills are opened.
