Located in Zagtouli, a district of Ouagadougou, ITAOUA INDUSTRIE is the first solar lamp assembly factory in Burkina Faso, according to its designers. Set up by Abdoul Kader Bougouma a few months ago, the factory has a production capacity of more than 100 lamps per day.

« ITAOUA INDUSTRIE was created in 2018 but only recently we started the operation and production of solar lamps with capacity production of more than 100 lamps per day”, confides Cédric Charlemagne Ouédraogo, production director of ITAOUA industry.

The operationalization of solar traffic lights

In addition to the production of solar lamps, ITAOUA industry is moving towards the operationalization of solar traffic lights with a height of approximately 3 m. These autonomous solar traffic lights with an integrated battery are functional thanks to solar energy.

Payment spread over a period of 1-5 years

ITAOUA intends to support its customers through the payment project spread over a period of one year to 5 years to help light the way to combat insecurity.

« We have a project which will allow us to support the Burkinabè State, the various communes, the villages and possibly neighboring States in West Africa to supply street lamps according to precise quantities where we ensure delivery allowing them to have a payment in installments from one year to five years to allow us to illuminate our States as much as possible, thus ensuring security in our beautiful cities », Says Landry Remen.

ITAOUA industry in addition to the assembly of solar lamps and traffic lights, is also in the marketing of electric motorcycles based on green energy.
