Jaffna. The first Muthamil festival organized by the Municipal Council started today (Sunday) at 8.30 am at Nallur Durga Mani Mandapam.
At the beginning of the event, guests will be treated to percussion instruments, poikkal horse races, mayilattam and kolattam to reflect the Tamil cultural values. They were brought to the event hall from in front of the City Hall.
In this case, Jaffna. Poet S. Padmanathan was honored with the State Prize for Physics by the Municipal Council. The special feature of this session is the litigation forum of the Kambavarithi E. Jayaraj panel.
