Despite the international acclaim, congratulations to the Golden Globe-winning Jaybeam film crew amidst great controversy. Thirumavalavan said.
Films that focus on real events are often the subject of controversy. In this context, Thirumavalavan has said that it is a supreme testament to encouraging those who speak out for the rights of the oppressed.
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) leader Thirumavalavan tweeted, “Congratulations to the Golden Globe Award winning Jaybeam film crew. This is the recognition given by the international community for the liberating voice of marginalized people. He said it was a supreme testament to encouraging those who speak out for the rights of the oppressed.
Thirumavalavan’s congratulations to Bamaka, who is already angry over the Golden Globe Award for Jai Beam, have been further irritated.
