James Rodríguez’s new business

Recently, Pedro Castellanos, founder of the Colombian clothing brand Monastery Couture, announced that a new collection will go on sale on November 18, with the collaboration and seal of the former Real Madrid player. Monastery was born in 2019 and today competes in the haute couture market alongside other prestigious companies such as Calvin Klein and Gucci.

The collection will be in all Monastery stores while supplies last and the money raised will be invested in some foundations, among which Colombia Somos Todos stands out, created in 2011 by the 32-year-old soccer player.

Colombia Somos Todos is dedicated to helping boys and girls develop skills in education and sports. In the words of James Rodríguez, they seek to sow discipline, camaraderie and perseverance, values ​​that have taken them to the top of world football. “We are happy because in 12 years we have impacted the lives of more than 6,000 boys and girls, as well as those of their families in 20 municipalities of Antioquia, Tolima, Atlántico and Casanare,” said James in an interview with Forbes magazine.

Clothing is not the only market in which James invests his money. In 2014, the best year in the Colombian’s football career, he created his own water brand called 10 Gold. He also has investments in real estate and agribusiness. In 2023 he opened his own restaurant with the name “Arrogante” and is the owner of a coffee brand called Dos Molinos.

In 2017, the former Bayern Munich player acquired some shares in Dos Molinos, but the success was so great that five years later he bought the entire company. The brand operates three establishments in Ibagué, one in Bogotá, one in Medellín, one in Espinal and recently opened a new one in Girardot.
