Has she been fooling us all these years? Or did Jamie Lee, who was considered a sex symbol in the 1980s, helped a little with her new film “Everything All At Once” and increased it again? In any case, it was clear to her: For her role Deirdre Beaubeirdra in the adventure film by A24 (“The Lighthouse”, “Hereditary”), no fat suit was an option!

As a result, Curtis turned down prosthetics or other devices to make her look rounder, director Daniel Kwan told Entertainment Weekly. “Everyone thinks her stomach in the movie is a prosthetic, but it’s actually her real stomach.”

Jamie Lee Curtis had had enough of stomach cramps and let the bacon run wild. She on Instagram: “I made a very conscious decision to give up and release every muscle I had to contract before to hide reality.”
A hit for her: “I’ve never felt so free,” writes the actress.
The only drop of bitterness: We can’t see Jamie’s first “free” role for the time being, for the film “Everything All At Once” there is no German start date yet. The title will initially be shown at the SSXW festival in Austin these days and is scheduled to start regularly in the USA in March.
