Actress and bodybuilder Jayne Trcka, recognized for her work in ‘The Bad Batch’, ‘The Bad Magic’, ‘Cattle Call’, and ‘Scary Movie’, died last month after being found unresponsive at her home. The official cause of her death remained undisclosed until now.
Jayne Trcka’s Cause of Death Confirmed
Recent reports indicate Trcka’s death was due to heart issues. Specifically, she suffered from hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, conditions linked to high blood pressure and hardened arteries. The San Diego County Medical Examiner confirmed these findings.
A recent left femoral fracture and a history of alcohol consumption also contributed to her declining health. Trcka was 62 years old at the time of her passing.

Jayne Trcka carved out a unique path in entertainment, transitioning from a successful bodybuilding career to acting. She gained prominence in the fitness world, participating in shows like ‘Flex’, ‘MuscleMag International’, and ‘Women’s Physique World.’
Her acting debut came in 2000 with a role as Miss Man in the comedy-horror film ‘Scary Movie’. She later made brief appearances on television series including ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’ and ‘The Drew Carey Show.’
Trcka was found unresponsive on December 12 after a friend contacted authorities when they were unable to reach her. First responders discovered her at her San Diego home, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
