Reliance Jio entered the telecom industry in September 2016. Jio has quickly entered everyone’s home with free voice calls and cheap data. Accordingly, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated 5G internet service in India today at the India Mobile Conference (IMC). Also, 5G services are currently only available in a few cities.
In this case, Jio CEO Mukesh Ambani has promised that Jio will provide 5G internet service to all cities and all types of customers by December next year.

Mukesh Ambani also attended the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) conference in Delhi. He said, “I would like to reiterate today Jio’s commitment to provide 5G services to every city, every taluk and every village of our country by December next year.
Ambani had said last August that Jio will provide 5G services in four metro cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata by Diwali. He also said that all Jio’s 5G products are branded Atma Nirbar and 5G services will enable high quality education and skill development at low cost.
He further said, “With 5G service, conventional hospitals in rural and remote areas can be converted into smart hospitals, so that all people can get high quality medical care. With high speed internet, doctors anywhere in India can treat patients quickly and clearly online.

5G will be a bridge between rural and urban areas as we improve information management in many sectors including agriculture, commerce, industry and transportation. India will become the intelligence capital of the world as we bring in artificial intelligence in all sectors. Through this, Indian companies can provide high quality software and services.
5G will inspire various entrepreneurs to start businesses. It will create crores of employment. 5G service is like digital kamadenu. 5G will provide all the things you want,” he said.
Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Gautam Adani’s company and Vodafone Idea all bid for a total of Rs 1.5 lakh crore in the 5G auction. 5G speed will be many times faster than 4G and it will provide connection without any delay. It also enables billions of connected devices to exchange data instantly.
